Team shortlisted
The team at Event Exeter are thrilled to have been shortlisted in the Best Event Management Team category at this year’s Academic Venue Awards, organised by Conference News.
The awards, now in their second year, bring together some of the UK’s top academic venues, to celebrate the best of the best. And with over 1000 of these in the UK, it seems only fitting that the best of the best should be recognised.
A year of success
Being shortlisted in the Best Event Management Team category comes on the back of a phenomenal conference season for the Event Exeter team. Having successfully delivered over 600 events during the last year, the nomination is testament to hours of hard work and dedication from the whole team.
According to the judges, the standard of entries for the 2018 awards was exceptionally high, with the overall strength and evolution of the sector being praised. This nomination follows Event Exeter being announced as finalists for the Best Customer Service and Best Outdoor Space categories in 2017.
A happy team
The awards dinner takes place on 27th November in the Great Hall at Birmingham University. Members of the team are looking forward to meeting and celebrating with colleagues from like-minded establishments. Whatever the outcome, to be shortlisted for this award is an absolute honour and everyone is over the moon.
