Testimonials

Exeter University is the perfect place for a Year 12 residential

Organiser, Ralph Allen School 2024

"Exeter university is the perfect place for a Year 12 residential. It has the space and facilities to allow for team building whilst giving the students a taster of university life. The facilities are excellent and every member of staff we encountered were helpful and friendly."

Our day was, yet again, wonderful.

Taste of the West Awards

The meal was utterly FANTASTIC and the service was slick, efficient and incredibly professional. We have had dozens of comments about how incredible it all was; one diner said her vegetarian meal was the best she had eaten.

Please pass on my grateful thanks to all the chefs, the waiting team and everyone else involved - you should be immensely proud of the team you are!

I must write to say how much we enjoyed our stay last week

Weston Walking Group – Holland Hall

All the staff, from reception, room servicing and catering, were helpful and friendly. A special mention must be made for the serving staff in the dining room that went beyond the normal call of service, they were excellent.

I also must mention the staff based around campus who politely answered the many queries, particularly "What's the quickest way back to Holland Hall?"

Can you pass on our many thanks to all

This has been the best ever event we have run

Dr Katie Beswick, TaPRA Executive Committee

So many thanks for your amazing work on the TaPRA conference. You have been absolutely brilliant in making it possible for us to stage this conference at such late notice, and in realising our vision of a generous, seamless and convivial gathering.

It went so well and colleagues are saying that this has been the best ever event we have run in 14 years of doing conferences as an organisation at campuses all over the country.

Please know that I and everyone on the TaPRA Exec fully appreciates the hard work, care and patience that you all demonstrated in realising this event with us.

Various delegates

The food was excellent, I am a regular conference participant and have organised numerous conferences myself and your food was amongst the best that I have seen. The selection of healthy options was very welcome and as a coeliac I must admit I don't think that I have ever been as well catered for.

What an exceptional space, venue and food. WOW Exeter. The spaces were wonderful, the food was epic, the setting is lovely, the organisation on point. Well done on that front (a veggie menu! well done, live and breathe sustainability without banging on about it!)

The breaks and after-events provided ample opportunities for networking and camaraderie. And let's not forget about the food! Each meal was a treat for the senses, fueling both body and mind for the engaging discussions ahead. Exeter was such a beautiful place for this gathering. As the conference wrapped up, I couldn't help but feel inspired by the whole experience.

The 2018 ICMM conference was a great success

The 6th IEEE International Conference on Microwave Magnetics

We received numerous positive comments from its delegates on the location at the University of Exeter, the facilities and staff provided in the Forum and Alumni Auditorium, and the organisation of the technical and social program of the conference.

Our local contacts were present throughout the conference to efficiently solve any last minute challenges. Prior to the conference, Jessica and Holly helped a great deal with the organisation of our delegate accommodation needs, the conference venue, and the catering.

We are grateful for the support that Event Exeter provided and look forward to hosting our next international conference at the University of Exeter.
