University of Exeter chefs scoop five awards in TUCO Competitions
A team of talented University of Exeter chefs returned from the prestigious annual University Caterers Organisation (TUCO) Competitions at Warwick University last week with an impressive five awards - more than any other institution represented at the event.
Following months of preparation, the team secured bronze awards in the Love British Food, Best Burger, Sandwich, and Vegan challenges, alongside a silver award in the highly competitive Chefs Challenge category.
The competitions attracted universities from across the UK and showcased an exceptionally high standard of culinary skill.
These award-winning chefs also provide catering for Event Exeter functions, bringing their creativity and expertise to conferences, events, and celebrations hosted across the University’s unique venues.
Their achievements reflect the high standards and dedication of the University of Exeter’s catering teams.
